The Copenhagen Bike Show is the biggest bicycle fair in Scandinavia, with around 20,000 visitors expected. It opens its doors to the public on Friday, 10th of March, 2017, and runs for three packed days, filled up with inspiring activities, demos and talks. It’s hosted in a beautiful industrial space, the Lokomotivværksted (The Train Workshop). This is a rather special location, that once housed the Danish Railway maintenance unit for steam locomotives.
The building is divided into six different ideas to fit all bike lovers’ needs: Performance, with the latest cycling products for professionals; Urban living, featuring city bikes; E-mobility that exhibits e-bike brands; Kids adventure; Event and travel, focused on non professional races and events, and Spring sale, which you can visit if you’re looking for a good bargain.
The focus on e-mobility and urban bikes is a natural focus for the the city - Copenhagen has been awarded the title of most cycle-friendly city in the world, where, as of December 2016, the bikes outnumbered the cars.

This fascinating Bike Show brings the whole bicycle community together. Experts and professionals will share information about trends and cutting-edge cycling innovations; tech tips by current and past cycling professionals, product developers, and bike travel enthusiasts. Bike tourism providers will even give you tips on where to access bike clubs and where to go for unforgettable cycling holidays both in Scandinavia and abroad.
Things are expected to be particularly fun in the Kid’s Zone, where an interactive KIDS ADVENTURE area will provide children and their parents fun and engaging ways to see the benefits of cycling.
